Avoid corruption in a citizens' assembly

Ensure people participating in the assembly are willing to volunteer information about any conflict of interests and that they are open to revealing their financial status.

Agreed. Acknowledging where speakers are coming from is good for everyone, including the speaker. It can act as a privilege check and trust builder in unequal societies like ours. I like it to include future earnings as I've found some voluntary poverty (until for example, large inheritances roll in) affects sense of security, perception of risk and choices compared to long term or poverty.
