This could include engaging the Irish government to act as a local issuer for C-Capsules. Not only would they generate revenue per certificate issued, they would have accessibility to data demonstrating the volumes of CDR they are achieving on home soil. They could also appoint a redemption authority that guarantees X CDR activity has met the requirements met by the Irish government.
Please consider what instruments will be used to convey the delivery of CDR units. C-Capsule is not just a tradeable attribute certificate, it’s an independent carrier of information demonstrating verified historical facts relating to a capture and sequestration event. Our governance framework is accessible to industry, governments and NGOs. Just like we’ve demonstrated in the I-REC market, we opt for local service provision where possible.
